Where's Rae in LA today?
Los Angeles deserves leadership that shows up — in your neighborhood, at your community meeting, on your block.
Where's Rae in LA
It's about you
Reverend Rae Huang is a community organizer, ordained Presbyterian minister, and proven leader who has spent two decades bringing people together to fight for dignity, fairness, and a Los Angeles where everyone has a place to call home.
The daughter of immigrants, Rae was raised in a community that showed her what it means to take care of one another — and that belief continues to guide her work today.
Leadership that earns trust by showing up
As Deputy Director at Housing NOW! California, Rae led statewide campaigns that expanded tenant protections and advanced housing solutions. She has organized alongside Clergy for Black Lives, the People's Budget LA, and CLUE, and played a critical role in fire recovery efforts in Los Angeles.
As mayor, Rae will strengthen and expand community-driven solutions to make our city more affordable, sustainable, and safe for every neighbor.

A campaign that comes to you — because you belong to LA
Los Angeles doesn't need another campaign that talks at people. It needs leadership that shows up with them. There's a feeling many Angelenos share right now: decisions are being made far from the neighborhoods they affect, and the voices affected most are missing from the conversation.
Rae is out in the community every week — at town halls, block parties, faith gatherings, and on public transit — because good governance starts with listening, and you deserve to be heard.
"Los Angeles doesn't need a mayor who shows up after the cameras do. It needs one who was already there."
— Rae Huang
